The world has resulted in great changes in the role of teachers, especially CS teachers. They cannot afford to be passive instructors in the computer lab anymore. In today’s situation, they also have to rise up and be the technical lead in their schools. And this is just the tip of the iceberg! As a result of National Educational Policy - 2020, the curriculum also has undergone a massive shift from conventional ICT to progressive coding, AI and Data Science. Special emphasis was laid to introduce coding from a very young age to school students. The timeline of the initiatives is as given below:  

Further, in recent years, due to the rapid global internet percolation, every citizen now has access to high speed internet. This has exposed students and their parents to a variety of online educational platforms. This, in turn, has resulted in increased expectations from the teachers, and a challenge for them to self-upgrade. This also has brought a new responsibility for them, which is to guide their students to become good digital citizens, and leave only positive digital footprints behind. Unfortunately most CS teachers and school leaders are not sufficiently aware of these updates. Addressing this problem, we, the SuperTeacher Edureforms Pvt Ltd, are conducting the CSAW 2023 to bring together educators, school leaders and industry experts from around the world.
